Rune Stones - Quartz

One of the most ancient forms of fortune telling/Divination.  A Runestone is typically a raised stone with a runic inscription on boulders and bedrock.  The tradition began in the 4th Century and lasted well into the 12th Century but most of the runestones date back to the late Viking Age.  Runestones come in a set of 24 ancient alphabetic symbols.  They can be made in wood, glass, or crystals and usually kept in a pouch.
